Hello Ken,

What makes UTS so different than anything else I've ever done is the dream tickets. The Dream Tickets are like a push in the tail to get us to go beyond where we would normally go.

These tickets may seem like they are physical actions and it just occurred to me that the action in the physical creates a kind of spiritual or mental type of action and movement too.

Our minds can actually look beyond where we normally look and see beyond. It's like the little bird I saw today who lost his ability to fly. All he could do was run and hide. I am tired of running and hiding.

In my case, the Dream Tickets taught my mind and my imagination how to fly again. They taught me to remember what it’s like to Dream again and that those Dreams are possible.

I would love to teach the concepts I am learning to the young people . . . . There are so many young people who need to know what you are showing us. There are so many who don't even know what they love because they’ve been taught otherwise.

My husband and I own a paintball field. We have been working with paintball players and teams since 2006 and doing our best to inspire them. We had a few players at the field one day. I told them the story in the UTS Handbook about the tadpoles who needed a challenge before they could grow. They loved it.

I did Dream Ticket #40!

This whole experience gave me a new outlook on life and a new understanding of why we must follow our inner promptings even if we don't understand them at the moment. Stories I had witnessed and recorded years ago now reveal a greater meaning when I read them back.

One day, I just had the thought, Ken had said he wanted to write another book when he retired. I wondered if you had done so yet, so I searched the internet. What I found was Ken Roberts, UTS Club. I read about it and signed up right then.

Ken, you introduced me to commodities. I didn't even know what commodities were before that. And I knew nothing about trading. You are one of the few great teachers I have known in my lifetime. I knew the UTS Club would be great!

Before trading, I tried just about everything out there. MLM, Network marketing. I wrote a how-to booklet, advertised in Popular Mechanics, $150 for the ad, sold (1) for $3.00. Ha!!! Played in bands. Tried this self-help program and that. Etc. Etc.

Ken, just keep doing what you're doing. All my life I've been focused on that darned orange cone, and didn't realize. You've made it so simple to understand.

By the way, since signing up with UTS my trading has turned around from a looong dry spell. And I also won a TV in a local fundraising drive for a childrens hospital.  The first thing I’ve won since being an adult!

Back in 2000, I moved to southern Illinois to escape the Chicago suburbs and the traffic, noise, etc. It was always my dream to own a farm, and land prices here are affordable. In 2004 I found a nice farm, 160 acres, actually larger than I had planned; my “goal” was 80 acres. Right after I purchased the farm, a new coal mine in the area informed me that they needed to build a railroad spur right through my farm. The State of Illinois had earlier in the year changed their eminent domain laws to allow corporations to forcefully purchase lands if necessary to conduct business. So, if I didn’t sell them the 5 acres to build the rail, they would get a court order, and if that happened, compensation would be 1/10th the original offer. Such a deal, many others held out and were publicly chastised for getting in the way of (coal mine) jobs, these folks, and the debate on the local news. Of course, the mine got what they wanted and built the rail, splitting my farm in half with the rail. At the time I thought “why is this happening to me?” After that, they constructed a large air shaft ventilator next to my farm. In spring of 2008 they fired it up. Now I had noise 24 hours a day that sounded like a jet engine, and pretty much ruined the peace and quiet that I had bought the farm to enjoy. I was losing sleep hearing it roaring through the night. Why was this happening to me?

So, I met with the mine several times, to no avail, and eventually hired a lawyer to help pursue my rights under Illinois nuisance law. In the meantime, I decided to focus on what I desired, which was to get out, and get out at a profit, even though the land was worth less because of the rail and the noise. In April of this year I suggested to my lawyer to propose a settlement for the noise issue, since he felt that we only had a 50/50 chance of winning in court, due to the jobs the mine was creating. They agreed to settle the noise issue for $500/acre, but would only pay 1/10th a year for ten years, which I accepted because at least I was getting something rather than nothing. The mine stated over and over that they had no desire to buy me out during the whole process.

Then I became a UTS course member, and through your teaching, decided that I would “expect” what I wanted, which was to get out, at a profit! Really I had no other choice because I was miserable with the noise. Now, I thought, why is this happening for me? That really helped me, instead of feeling like a victim, I felt empowered, even though I was not sure where this was leading. So I “took the first step” and hired a local realtor.

To make a long story short, he sold my farm for full asking price to the very same folks who had no interest in it previously, the coal mine, on Nov. 9th. Wow! (for me anyway)! I know that thanks to your UTS course and your sharing and teachings, the universe provided me with the solutions to my problems, and made me wealthier in the process. I absolutely could not have “planned” or set a goal for this (unexpected and very profitable) outcome.

I have so much more I would like to ask and tell you . . . !

Hello Ken,

My wife and I joined about a week and a half ago. We got our box of goodies a couple of days ago and decided to do Dream Ticket #1 together during dinner last night.

We had separate notebooks for the answers but read the questions together and then discussed. We also asked our kids if they wanted to join us. Our son is 15 and our daughter is 3 (she pretended to write her answers). So, needless to say, your system definitely gets to the heart of the matter! After discussing it together, we actually got into somewhat of a heated discussion about one another’s answers. About 15 minutes into it, my wife and I looked at each other and basically said “Wow, no wonder we are stagnant!” There was no common ground anywhere. It’s hard to steer a ship if everyone has a wheel and is trying to turn it in a different direction.

We are very excited and slightly worried about the rest if this was only #1. Either way, it got us thinking, talking, and acting. So, thank you very much Ken!

When we talked a few days ago I shared with you that your introduction of Psycho-Pictography and Vernon Howard to me was the most important event in my life. It opened a world to me that I feel so blessed to have in my life. I've always considered Psycho-Pictography the most important book in my life along with the Bible. Your UTS book has a place alongside those two now.  Your UTS book is a masterpiece, a true treasure. WOW, I knew it would be good, but I'm completely overwhelmed by how good it is. Thank you.

The Dream Tickets are going to be fun and challenging, I look forward especially to #40.  Dream Ticket #3 I have something that I know you will understand. Normally, I would be uncomfortable sharing something so personal -- but even though we’ve never met, I feel like you (more than most) will understand the things I love to do....I’ve always felt outside the crowd -- I don’t like watching sports, playing golf, fishing, etc. Creating this list has helped me understand that it is ok to travel off the well-worn path and to thrive on that!

I’ve been so focused on a specific set of numbers, I’ve lost sight of my passions and what I love to do. I am fortunate that I have been blessed to “stumble into” what I love to do, and have designed a business and lifestyle around that -- but I’ve been stuck. I want all of the abundance this universe has to offer. And, as I’ve heard you mention “Only the mediocre are always at their best”. I want to advance as far as I can....

One more thing, I’ve been [using the special technique you teach on video #15] since last week -- and the results have been incredible! That tip alone was worth every penny of the $180. You have created something truly remarkable...”

Ken, I'd like to start out with thank you.

I have been doing dream ticket #3 every day now, but I had to write to you about dream ticket #26. Read the signs. Last Friday I was in Vegas for the Toastmasters International Convention as a "Volunteer". I arrived early to the morning’s first event so I took the time to read the signs that had been posted in the hallway. I came across the message board and read each one. Then I saw one that read "Hi I'm Stephanie and I am here alone at the convention and would like to meet new people to go to meals with. Please call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX."

I called and left a message. She called back to confirm! I met and had lunch with a highly intelligent and beautiful women. The hour lunch turned into a three-and-a-half-hour-long enjoyable lunch and talk with her. It turned out to be the best experience I had during the convention that day. I did have to return the next day, but on the drive back all I could think of was how many more experiences will there be like this from doing the dream tickets. And of course of how big my fortune will be . . . all starting with that $2 dollar bill I signed and underlined at the base.

It's been two months since we spoke on the phone about my concerns about continuing on with the course. Well, I'm still here and I've done two more Dream Tickets.

I got a response from a query letter I sent out 1-1/2 years ago on a book I wrote on how to find the love of your life. That prompted me to dig out my proposal and update it. I've been working on that until I got an idea yesterday to turn the book into a textbook for a course on finding true love.

I'm going to skip submitting the proposal. I got a lot of agent interest last year, but no takers. The main reason was I had "no marketing platform." If a publisher were ever to accept the book, I'd still have to do the marketing myself anyway. Well, why not do the marketing right now and offer a course?

I love that quote you gave about the Internet being an emperor with no clothes. YES! I've been derailed and stuck in the mud by the promises of easy e-book sales "if you buy my course." Last year I had worked on putting the book online and floundered with the whole website, SEO, lengthy sales letter thing. I had given up on the book completely.

Until now. I'll follow the Dream Tickets instead. I'll begin by doing some test marketing on a course with unlimited email access to me for any questions. I'll see if there's any interest. I'll start by offering the book as a word doc. I've already formatted the text, complete with clip art. And a separate workbook with activity worksheets.

Wow. I can actually see myself getting orders for the course, sending out emails with word.doc attachments, and reading and responding to email questions and comments. THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!

"I had a check in my hand before I ever wrote a word!!! [And another... and then another!]"

When I was first introduced to your concept of "no goals" almost two years ago, you sent me an early draft of the manuscript for the UTS handbook. I thought, "This doesn't even make sense!" But I know of all your success, I know that you're honest and sincere, and so I got to thinking — maybe I can learn something here, maybe my lifelong sales career demanding that I make predetermined goals and always "hit the target" actually LIMITED me (as your handbook explained)!

And you're right! Let me tell you a few of my experiences since the fall of 2009 when you first showed me a better, faster way: My business was hit very hard by the recession, and I was very concerned because my capital was invested in inventory that was losing value. I had purchased a large library of old recovery talks related to the founding of the first 12 step program. Having had family members in recovery, this was something I was very interested in preserving. My "goal" was to preserve, distribute, and transfer these recordings and begin to make them available to the recovery community through a non-profit website I created: www.RecoverySpeakers.org.

I began the project before the recession hit and was able to actually have the website up and running with several thousand recordings available. The challenge however, was generating enough revenue to continue this project. This truly is a massive undertaking - to date I have only 15 percent of the library transferred! But things ground down to a crawl when the economic downturn hit and contributions practically ceased.

I was so defeated, discouraged, frustrated, and didn't know what to do. So I "let go" and continued reading your handbook — about not projecting an outcome, just keep my attention off all these orange cones, but keep moving forward with what I could do (your Dream Tickets), with my eyes on my dream.

And then, by "coincidence" as you say, I received a phone call from "out of the blue" from William G. Borchert — the famous, Emmy-winning Hollywood screenwriter — asking if I would be willing to cowrite a book with him!!!

Never having anything published myself, this was a dream come true (and certainly nothing I ever would have even dared to set as a goal)!

He has all the connections, made arrangements with the publisher, and secured a contract from Hazelden, the world's leading publisher of self-help and recovery books!!! I had a check in my hand before I ever wrote a word!!!

He and I got busy on the work, and this past November the book hit the market: "1000 Years of Sobriety: 20 People x 50 Years"!

Several weeks later Hazelden called and they asked me if I could write a history book celebrating Al-Anon Family Groups' 60th Anniversary!!! And their request was based upon my ability to utilize my audio library as the "resource center" for this book! (And another check arrived!) Now here we are four months later. The book is complete and will be released in the fall. Along with the printed version, we have created an "interactive E-book," which will be the first ever of its kind to be released by Hazelden!

As I was completing book number two, the publisher asked me if I would be willing to co-author ANOTHER book based on my library and create a second Interactive product! (And the next check's on its way!)

Can you believe this? (Yes, I know you can, since this is what your handbook teaches!)

I can tell you that today I am doing what is in front of me and doing what I love — and making money in ways that I never would have dared to ask for! Knowing that my life is unfolding in positive ways, my creativity is being sparked by the sheer amazement of what keeps unfolding. All these Next Steps as you say!

A quick note to say hello. We go way back. I am so glad I have you back in my life. Last week I had an assignment in a course I am taking to identify my mentors. As I was looking over the list and contemplating each person who had helped me along the path, I started writing down what each had done to enhance and change the course of my life. When I came to your name, and started writing, I just kept writing and writing and it was like, Jiminy Cricket, where did Ken go? I have to find him. Well, not one week later I am writing you this letter. (hello universe)

If you are interested I will elaborate but suffice to say that any one of about 10 people you introduced me to would have been enough to make the mentor list . . . . Life changing.

Thanks Ken. Thanks for creating such a fun program and one that is affordable. As I am sure you know, there are many coaching programs out there that cost thousands of dollars, and they can be more about how they are right because "they have made it: and you are wrong "because you're not there yet." I've had a recent experience with a group that want to keep selling me their next $1500 hot topic, and then the next, and the next, and when I say no, they act like I just am not invested in my own success. "I'll take two, please!"

Ken,
I'm loving the course and I've had the best week and a half I've had in a long time. There are things stirring in my soul or my heart or whatever it is that I have either never felt, or had forgotten how it felt.

I had written to you about whether I was losing it ;-) My wife is actually a little freaked out about this. She was freaked out that I was happy, didn't get mad like I used to do (apparently — that was a real eye opener), my new "appreciation" of music, picking up litter, etc.

Today, while running two errands I struck up conversations with two complete strangers--one at a gas pump, another at a different grocery store than "usual." The first one was about "fishing." It must of hit a chord because he told me his best fishing spots, when to go, where to go, how some one at one location had actually spray painted the sign that said "No Fishing" to "Go Fishing"! (That struck me about how many restrictions people place on themselves and each other). He almost talked my leg off ;-) And when it was done--I not only now know where to go fish--but also sensed it was not fish I was looking for ;-) I'm still going fishing though (I haven't done it for years) ;-)

The second random conversation was in a line. I offered to let the guy go ahead of me, which he declined, but we started talking about picking up some milk for his two grand children--ages 4 and 6. I told him that was a good problem to have and he spoke about how much he was enjoying seeing his grand kids, and how that didn't happen often. We made eye contact (blue eyes by the way) and I could sense a connection--he almost talked my leg off too ;-)

So, I come home and tell my wife about my two conversations with theses men and she's like "Have you never talked to total strangers before--people outside of work, friends, or church?" I was shocked when the answer was — no, I never do that. I go and get it done and don't say nothing to nobody — except for today — and it made me feel blessed, and connected, and made my heart glad — and it didn't cost me a cent or make me anxious ;-)

So that old saying "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." I laughed, because I've been thinking that I'm losing it, and going off the deep end with these "different", "unorthodox", "counter-intuitive" actions. The exact opposite is true! So now instead of being afraid that I'm losing it I'm like "I'll take two please!"

So are there any tickets for this stuff or do I just make up my own ;)

I'm off to make my love list up — and am waiting for whatever surprises are lurking there. Thank you so much for the course. Onward and upward!

"UTS couldn't have come at a better time for me... it's the best."

Ken — I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to get the information on your newest thing. I had taken some of your trading courses years ago. For whatever reason, I was extremely excited when I registered, and really excited when I received the information box for the UTS Club. I am looking forward to this journey! The only thing that I would add is that it has been such a joy reading the UTS manual and listening to the CD. Ken has a way that is down to earth, honest, and I have always had a lot of regard for what I can feel is his integrity. This applies to both his past work with the trading courses and now with the UTS Club. This came at a perfect time for me as I am wanting to reinvent myself. I just turned 57 and have been doing wholistic health for 20 years. My Soul is stirring and wanting new challenges. This UTS program couldn't have come at a better time for me — and to have it be with Ken Roberts and his group — it's the best. I even like that you are using the same artist and art work again. I have been a dedicated student of self development for 25 years. NOTHING even comes close to UTS. Ken, you have put everything into one package, that anyone can apply. Other teachers will cover one aspect or another, but never everything that we need to know. But UTS is truly special. "Truly 'rocked my world!'"

When Ken says onward and upward, I thought it was just a slogan. Little did I know it would become a new way of life for me. . . . I am holding back the tears. Just writing this is healing me in such a way that words could not do it justice. If I ever felt alone and isolated . . . . it was just before I received Ken's UTS material. I know you understand that just the mere appearance of Ken in my life once . . . proves to me that I am loved beyond my own imagination by a power so wonderful. Ken, I hope you have a few minutes because I have a lot to tell you. I am very excited to be a part of the UTS Club . . . . During the online chats, you would challenge us with what we now call ‘Dream Tickets'. Some of them were very uncomfortable for me to do . . . . I found that it was a pleasant experience and wondered why I had been so apprehensive about it. I can remember emailing you and saying "Ken, I did it". . . . You talk about 'coincidences', I've got one for you! The very same day that you issued the challenge 'Don't Hold Back' I went to my boss and told him that I was pleased that we were going to offer the service, but, I was not happy about the percentage that he was going to pay me. The meeting was very friendly and . . . . he ended up paying me much more that he first told me. I'm happy to say that the service took off. By the end of that year, I had surpassed my salary as an auditor. By the end of the next year, I had doubled my original salary with my new company. And to beat all, I found that I truly loved what I was doing. Not only was I making good income, but, I was also becoming one of the leading experts in my field in the entire Southeast. Not bad for someone who almost lost everything after quitting his cushy government job!

Like I said, I am very pleased to be part of the UTS Club. All the ‘Dream Tickets' will help me to continue to take the next step. Recently, we had a senior vice president and two marketing experts from our parent company in our office for a meeting. I took the opportunity to meet with the senior vice president privately to discuss my concerns about the current status of what I do and the future of what I do. Of course, I was thinking about the 'Don't Hold Back' Dream Ticket. I suggested to him that something needed to be done because I was totally overwhelmed with the success of my service and the lack of support. I suggested that I could even go out on my own and be a partner company (that way we would both benefit). At one point, I even asked ‘Why should I stay here'? Anyway, I don't know what will come of the meeting. All I know is that I didn't hold back, but, I did it in a tactful manner. I also wanted to tell you that during our company meeting that day, I took the opportunity to speak up whenever I thought it was appropriate (or I had the urge). Anyway, I found that I really enjoyed doing it and I got a few laughs to boot!

In conclusion (finally), I would like to thank you for the UTS Club, the challenges that you put me through, and the encouragement that you give me. I look forward to earning all the 'Dream Tickets'. I don't know what the future holds for me and I am determined not to limit myself with goals. As you can tell, UTS has already meant a lot to me and my family. I'm so thankful that I have the opportunity to be a part of this.
