How to Make the
Stock Market Make
Money for You
By Ted Warren
Hard cover

Ted Warren was a financial genius who understood the stock and commodity markets like no one else. After struggling through the Great Depression as a common laborer with a sixth-grade education, he became independently wealthy when he discovered a powerful trading secret that foretells major price moves. He went on to share his discoveries with all who would listen, making him a true benefactor to generations to come.
Ted published his secrets in the now-classic work, How to Make the Stock Market Make Money for You—the book that started it all for the deputy sheriff who went on to introduce me to charting techniques. Ted’s book inspired my entire career as a trader. |

Did Ted’s methods work? Judge for yourself. In 1982, shortly before he died, Ted recommended 42 stocks that he said were going to take off. I was curious about how his recommendations did, so around 1996 I went back and looked up all those markets to see what happened to them in the following years. Incredibly, every single stock rose in value, averaging a 124% annual return!* Clearly the man was a master at spotting formations and predicting where any market was heading. Can you see why I call him a financial genius?
Now, here’s where Ted’s story really gets interesting. Ten thousand copies of How to Make the Stock Market Make Money for You were published in 1966, but only a few hundred ever reached the public. In Mr. Warren’s own words, “The publisher died. The manipulators then bought the last 8,500 copies and took them off the market.”
You see, Ted used price charts to reveal how the “big money” manipulates the public into buying when prices are high and selling when prices are low — a sure formula for failure. Meanwhile the manipulators — the “insiders” — were the ones selling to the public when prices were high, and then buying back when prices were low. Ted believed that anyone who understands the secret signals on a chart can beat the manipulators at their own game. This is what every investor — novice and professional — desires to know and profit from.
Years ago, after being introduced to a rare copy of Ted’s book, I determined to learn more about this remarkable man. Finally discovering that Ted’s widow lived with her sister in Washington State, I flew up to meet her in 1993. She was 82 years old, exuberant, and still dedicated to her husband’s desire to place his secret in as many readers’ hands as possible. She explained that several individuals tried to buy the copyright to the book, but she wasn’t comfortable with them. “I don’t think Hubby would have approved of them,” she told me. After showing her what her husband’s work meant to me, I asked her to let me purchase the rights to reprint his book. Happily, she agreed.
So now, per her wishes, her husband’s investment secret is in print again! It’s as relevant and revealing today as when he wrote it. You’ll be amazed and delighted as you look through a current set of price charts and see for yourself how today’s markets unfold and react precisely as Ted Warren described (and predicted!) in his book.
I’m proud to be able to offer How to Make the Stock Market Make Money for You. I know you’ll find it to be as inspiring and encouraging as I did when I first read it.

* Analysis based on the 42 stock recommendations published by Ted Warren in the November 14, 1982 issue of The Investolator. Every single stock pick rose in value after publication. Using a conservative estimate, an investor familiar with Ted Warren’s methods would have sold 39 of those 42 stocks when distinct sell signals were made. Performance figures are based on such. The remaining three stocks merged with other companies before a sell signal was given and so performance is based on their closing price on the last day of trading. Using these conservative guidelines, the average annual return for these 42 stocks was 124%. Disclaimer: Hypothetical results have inherent limitations and cannot accurately reflect what would have happened in real-time trading. Fees were not taken into account. Normal full-service fees at the time were approximately 3%.
